Fresh48 sessions take place within 48 hours after delivery while mom and baby are still in the hospital, birthing center or even already at home if they had a home birth. They are some of my favorite photo sessions to shoot. There is something so magical about meeting a brand new baby, and it’s an honor to be invited to document such an important family event. The parents may be tired from long labor, but they are still basking in the joy-filled afterglow of bringing a new life earth-side and it’s a truly special thing to be a part of.

Once you decide to book, I tentatively book you for your due date. We all know babies have a tendency to come when they want, so I provide you with my cell number to text once you are in active labor and to text again once baby has arrived. We then will pick a time for me to come visit you at the hospital for your session. Typically theses sessions take just about 30 minutes to an hour depending on package booked. I take shots of baby alone in bassinet, baby with mom, baby with dad baby meeting family ect. Other shots I may get if desired are baby latching, diaper changes, swaddling, and checkups.
$75 off if booked with a NEWBORN session
*Fresh48 clients are able to come in studio for their Monthly Milestones at a discounted price of $75 a session for 5 images.
